Konferencija “Šiuolaikinė medinė architektūra: naujos technologijos ir naujas požiūris”

Vilniaus memorialinių muziejų direkcijos Medinės miesto architektūros muziejus kartu su Airijos ambasada Lietuvoje, šių metų spalio 21 d. kvietė į tarptautinę konferenciją Šiuolaikinė medinė architektūra: naujos technologijos ir naujas požiūris.
Konferencijoje architektūros biurai iš Airijos (Bucholz McEvoy Architects), Vokietijos (Stuttgart university ICD Institute for computational design and construction) ir Lietuvos (Archas architects, Do architects, De Architectura, Baukas) pristatė įgyvendintus medinių pastatų projektus, juose taikytas naujas technologijas. Apie naujos medinės architektūros ateitį Lietuvoje kalbjo Lietuvos Respublikos aplinkos ministerijos, priešgaisrinės saugos bei tvarios statybos specialistai. Renginio metu muziejaus erdvėse pristatyta kilnojama paroda From the Ground Up: Timber innovation in Irish architecture, skirta per paskutinius du dešimtmečius Airijoje sukurtai medinei architektūrai.
Vyko trys renginio sesijos su pranešimais ir diskusijomis:
- Įgyvendinti naujos medinės architektūros projektai – naujos technologijos ir iššūkiai kūrėjams;
- Šiuolaikinė medinė architektūra istorinio miesto kontekste;
- Ar nauja medinė architektūra gali būti gera investicija?
Renginio tikslas – didinti naujos profesionalios medinės architektūros, kaip neatsiejamos šiuolaikiško miesto ekologiškos, tvarios ir inovatyvios dalies, populiarumą, iškelti ir aptarti naujoje medinėje statyboje kylančias problemas bei pristatyti Medinės miesto architektūros muziejų, kaip diskusijoms atvirą ir bendruomenei svetingą erdvę.

The Museum of Wooden City Architecture of the Directorate of Vilnius Memorial Museums, together with the Embassy of Ireland in Lithuania, held international conference Contemporary Wooden Architecture: New Technologies and New Approach, on October 21.
At the conference, architectural offices from Ireland (Bucholz McEvoy Architects), Germany (Stuttgart university ICD Institute for computational design and construction) and Lithuania (Archas architects, Do architects, De Architectura, Baukas) presented their wooden building projects and the new technologies they have applied. Experts from the Ministry of the Environment of the Republic of Lithuania, fire safety and sustainable construction talked about the future of new wooden architecture in Lithuania. The event featured a travelling exhibition From the Ground Up: Timber innovation in Irish architecture, which will focus on timber architecture developed in Ireland over the last two decades.
Three sessions with presentations and discussions were held:
- New Timber Architecture Projects Implemented – New Technologies and Challenges for Developers;
- Contemporary timber architecture in the context of the historic city;
- Can new wooden architecture be a good investment?
The aim of the event was to raise the profile of new professional wooden architecture as an integral part of a modern city that is environmentally friendly, sustainable and innovative, to raise and discuss the challenges of new wooden construction and to present the Museum of Wooden City Architecture as a space open to discussion and welcoming to the community.
